Colorado is a beautiful state for those wanting to take a road trip through a state out west!

Visit Colorado National Monument

One of my favorite U.S.A. parks that we have visited is Colorado National Monument. It’s not quite a National Park, but it should be!

The morning light here is a photographer’s dream. What a beautiful landscape!

My favorite part though, being the animal lover that I am, is having the chance to see the big horn sheep in their natural habitat. I had spent our whole trip glued to my window hoping to see some of these in the wild, and they popped up to give us a little show.

Take a Brewery Tour

Colorado is a pretty great beer state, and the best brewery tour we’ve ever taken was at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins! We had such a fun tour guide and the brewery campus was amazing! They walk you all over the facility where you get to see the beer-making process at different stages – even up to the bottling line, sampling the brew along the way.

Brewery tours are an affordable $10.00 per person and a great activity to put on your Colorado bucket list!

Visit The Garden of The Gods

If you find yourself in Colorado and you like cool rock formations, The Garden of the Gods is a great place to spend a few hours. We were staying with some friends for a few days in Colorado Springs, before we headed into the mountains, and were lucky enough to get to see this cool natural wonder. Rock climbing is particularly popular here, and if you look close enough in the photos, you can see people doing just that!

Drive Through “South Park”

Technically, South Park isn’t the name of the town – it’s actually Fairplay. But they have a little fun with it!

Visit Bavarian-Themed Vail Village

If you’re itching for some European feels in America, stop by the Bavarian-themed Vail Village! Head into Pepi’s for Austrian-inspired eats, which as been in Vail since 1964.
